#twaiku #micropoetry #poetweet
The three hashtags listed above are the most popular venues to share thoughtful prose of 140 characters or less.  Think you can handle the challenge of condensed creativity?  It is not for the faint of ‒ oh who am I kidding?  Go ahead and get your Twitter poetry groove on!

Featured Sites
Though this testament to Twitter poetry is not active anymore, it holds approximately 1,353,298 tweeted verses.  They all were compiled according to the site's author "by aggregating real-time public twitter updates and selecting those that rhyme."

This one man creative effort is maintained by Justin Germino.  Justin creates poems based on words submitted to him by his followers.  Justin started out believing he was not a poet and compared the process to reassembling "Scrabble pieces."  It is quite clear that with each piece he composes, a highly imaginative artist pulses through it.

Found Twitter Poems
This is another effort focused on compiling poetry from unlikely sources.  Found Twitter Poems chronicles unintentional twitter prose both on their website and Twitter account.  The site receives manual submissions so be sure to keep a keen eye and pass along some accidental art!
